Black Lives Matter Movement

Following the torturous murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin on May 25th, 2020. Civil unrest struck the Unites States and groups from all over the world mobilized to protest and stand in solidarity against police brutality. Northern New Jersey did the same. Protests were held on a weekly basis in some towns such as Ridgefield Park and Englewood. Amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, people stood, cried, marched, and sang together to embrace black lives.
